Amador County is a “non-delegated” air district as recognized by Federal EPA, therefore a notification form for demolition of structures must always be sent directly to the California Air Resources Board. A link to the notification form as well as detailed instruction is provided below:

The Air District does ask that a copy of the above notification be sent to us as a courtesy. Please Fax to 209/257-0116.

Please contact Amador County Waste Management at 209/223-6546 for local ordinances regarding asbestos abatement.
