ONLINE SUBMITTALS: Please email Applications Part I & II along with maximum sized plans of 11 X 17 to:

Building@amadorgov.org

You will be charged printing fees of $1.00 per 8.5 X 11 page for plan sets.

PLEASE READ: Once applications are received via email, they will be processed and you will be notified of the permit number and balance due via email. A credit card authorization form will be attached for payments at that time. Should you choose to pay by check, you may mail it to: Building Dept. 810 Court Street, Jackson, CA 95642 or bring it in person. After payment is made, you will be emailed the front of the permit and a receipt, or given your copies in person. Once an inspection is scheduled, the building inspector will bring the inspection card and approved set of plans to the jobsite. Should you want your permit & plans mailed, you will be responsible to supply the Building Department with the means to do so. (Envelope/pouch large enough for your plans...….FedEx, UPS, Regular mail etc.) Plan sets larger than 11 X 17 will need to be submitted in person by appointment or via mail.
