Pavement Management Program and Road Maintenance Services
PROJECT DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The County of Amador Department of Transportation and Public Works (County) is seeking proposals from qualified firms (Consultant) to assist the County with updating and maintaining the Pavement Management Program (PMP) for the County of Amador. The purpose of the PMP is to provide a systematic method for determining roadway pavement maintenance, rehabilitation and reconstruction needs and cost effective treatments to address said needs. In addition to advising the County on a systematic approach to PMP, the Consultant will also assist County with maintaining the PMP database, ensuring that current and future road maintenance is logged into the PMP database so the County may evaluate the effects of the work on the Pavement Condition Index (PCI) for road segments. Associated Road Maintenance Services and consultation will be required to further assist the County with implementing projects derived from the utilization of the PMP. The Consultant will be assisting the County with updating, maintaining, and implementing the PMP for a three (3) year contract period, repeating the proposed scope of work on an annual basis.

Sealed RFP’s will be received by the County of Amador Purchasing Office; by U.S. Mail at 12200 B Airport Road, Jackson, CA 95642-9527; by U.P.S., Federal Express, or by other courier to 12200 B Airport Road, Martell, CA; 95654, until 1:30 PM, Thursday, January 30, 2020, at which time sealed RFP’s will be opened and read in the office of the Director of General Services Administration, located at the above Martell address. RFP’s received late, will be rejected and returned unopened. Telegraph, Facsimile (FAX) and E-Mail RFP’s will not be considered.
