CHDP KIDS

The Child Health and Disability Prevention (CHDP) Program is a preventative program that provides periodic health examinations for infants, toddlers, children, teens, young adults, and children in foster care. The exams are free for children who do not have health insurance and are from families with low to moderate incomes or on no share of cost Medi-Cal.

A CHDP health exam includes:

  • Vision & Hearing Test
  •  Immunizations (shots)
  • Growth & Development Check
  • Height & Weight Check
  • Nutritional Assessment
  • Oral Health Screening
  • Lab Tests
  • Health Information
